FITZ Maurice designs symbols and images that benefit the Global Community. These artistic symbols communicate positive, uplifting and socially responsible messages that are timely. This Symbol of Tolerance represents all races around the world connecting in celebration.
The German Parliament exhibited FITZ Maurice’s paintings as the artistic renditions of the Fall of the Berlin Wall and the Reunification of Germany. The Parliament purchased the painting ''Communism Lying on the Ground'' for their permanent collection. The BERLIN: Metamorphosis Collection toured Germany for 3 years.
The International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), based in Frankfort, Germany, saw the “Berlin: Metamorphosis” exhibit at the German Parliament. The ISHR requested a painting that represented the struggle for human rights worldwide. They chose “The War of Human Rights” as their international symbol for human rights.
The United Nations World Conference on Human Rights in Vienna, Austria, exhibited "The War of Human Rights'' as the symbol of human rights.
A banner of the painting was displayed throughout Vienna to announce the world conference, and was distributed internationally to promote human rights and the release of political prisoners in Cuba and Africa.
